Well the first thing I noticed was the parking lot was full. But thankfully we did not have to wait long before being seated. The menu.. well it was hard to decide what to choose. The apple Caramel pancakes looked delicious but I, trying to be healthy, chose the sole with green beans and mashed potatoes. My meal partner chose the barbecue beef dinner. I have not been to a Bob evans in awhile so was surprised that you are offered biscuits, rolls or banana nut bread with your meal. Who passes up banana nut bread? Your own dessert added to your meal. This was one of the best meals I have eaten at a restaurant in awhile. There was no complaints about anything. Service was great! Chelsie was working her a** off but no one was left waiting long for anything. If I lived in this area would come by again without a doubt.
Food was delicious, waitress was very attentive, always nice to be able to walk to the restaurant after spending hours in the car
Truly nothing but good food and friendly service at the Marietta Bob Evans. Zero complaints! Had a great experience there. I find that Marietta, in general, is a very friendly city and worth a visit!
Food was delicious as always. Service was terrible. Our sever didn't bring the jelly we asked for and never came back to check on us. As someone who worked in the food industry for years I was appalled with her level of service. She dropped the check without a word. I will NOT be returning to the Parkersburg BOB EVANS.
Love this place.. always have.! Home cooked meals.. right off the bike path! Loved to see canes chicken go in next door to go along with the paneras.. when I’m out of town we look for Bob evans or canes or Paneras . Close to our Hampton inn or comfort suite. Lots of variety and easy access.
I don't like giving terrible reviews, BUT the food was awful. I got the pot roast dinner. The gravy tasted burnt & if it wasn't, it was very unpleasanttasting - smelled marvelous, though. My husband's cod dinner was way overcooked. My m-i-ls chicken was overcooked, as well.
So very disappointed.
Our waitress was very nice. And & went back to get us more syrup for my Dad & dressing.
I am just glad she didn't have a plate of gravy or anything like that when she spilled fries on my m-i-l.

Our food was delivered by a GrubHub employee, who was very nice . The food was terrible!!! This is not the first time for bad food but it is the first time I am going to complain!!!! There was 2 dinners ordered… 3 course I believe, Fried chicken (1) corn , salad , and mashed potatoes and gravy, and pecan pie / Cod , carrots , salad and potatoes… rolls and the pie. Great deal on this combo…. If only it was worth eating!!! The meats were so overcooked it was disgusting, c the corn ? I do not know what happened to it but it was like dehydrated and the rolls ????? What happened to Bob Evans great rolls ? They were overproofed , overcooked and oh yes no butter to even hide the taste !!! The Bob Evans in Marrietta is a great place to eat, the one in New Martinsville could take some pointers on how to treat their customers, couldn't even get waited on last time we were there. At Marrietta we were seated promptly and our waitress did an awesome job and the food was delicious.
